Trevance Transaction Gateway Update Instructions
Please read the instructions before commencing to update Trevance . You may view the user manual by pressing F1 when using Trevance.

When you are running Trevance, Click Help -> About in the Menu Bar to view the version you are running.

Steps for updating Trevance.
** Note **
It is suggested to make your resident technical support, IT Dept. or application specialist
aware of your intentions before updating. Your organizations MIS/IT Dept is likely to have
the skills, to assist as needed. Completion of all transactions
currently in the queue, back-up of all appropriate files in the directory in which
the Trevance resides be accomplished.
1. Files locations related to the program can be viewed by viewing the Configuration report
( Help -> Configuration report ) it is suggested that a copy of the configuration
report be printed and kept in a secure location.
2. Retrieve your Serial number and Activation Key ( Configure -> Serial Number and Activation Key). It is suggested this information be written down and secured as it is required to complete the update process.
3. Pause Trevance. (Queue -> Pause or click the Pause button)
4. Turn Trevance OFF ( File -> Exit )
5. Download the latest update to Trevance
(Trevance Update )
** Note **
The updater program can be downloaded to, and run from, any location on the machine on which
Trevance is resident and will update the Trevance if it is located in the default location.
( The default location is C:\Program Files\Trevance )
Should the Trevance program be located in a different user defined location
than its default location, the updater should be downloaded to the same directory and run from there.
6. With the Trevance turned off run the update program UpdateTrevance.x.x.xx.x.exe on the machine on which the Trevance resides.
7. Restart the Trevance application, the update is complete.
