CN!Express Security
The security of your transactions is our principal concern, we have deployed multiple technologies to insure the highest commercially feasible level of security for your installation of CN!Express. Password Protected User and User Levels in Single User The CN!Express Single User software enables the administrator to provide password protected accounts for each user with different levels of authority. For example, users can be prohibited from sending refunds or they can be limited in the amount of refund that they can process.
Password Protected Management Utilities in AutoProcessor
Both the Transaction Viewer which provides real-time feedback about transactions and the Capture Manager which enables remote capture of already authed transactions are password protected so access to these tools can be restricted.
CN!Express AutoProcessor runs as NT Service
Because it can run as a service (without a logged in user), access to the AutoProcessor can be restricted to authorized users only using Windows security.
AES Encryption of Account Numbers
Account numbers are stored in the CN!Express database using AES encryption. The Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) is a Federal Information Processing Standard (FIPS), specifically, FIPS Publication 197, that specifies a cryptographic algorithm for use by U.S. Government organizations to protect sensitive information. The Secretary of Commerce approved the adoption of AES as an official Government standard, effective May 26, 2002. AES Encryption is more secure than either DES or Triple DES encryption.
Account Numbers are Truncated
Only the last four digits of account numbers are displayed and printed by default. Account numbers can optionally be truncated when exported.
128 bit SSL encryption of internet traffic.
All credit card transactions are completed using 128 Bit SSL encrypted communication. In order to use this level of encryption we require that you have Internet Explorer 5.5 or 6 with 128 bit encryption (your cipher strength should be 128 bit in Help->About Internet Explorer). 128 Bit SSL means that there is almost no chance of your transaction information ever being intercepted or decoded as it is sent over the Internet.
