CN!Express CX-6000 AutoProcessor Update Instructions

Please read the instructions before updating CN!Express CX-6000 AutoProcessor.

What version are you running?

While running CN!Express CX-6000 AutoProcessor Click Help -> About in the Menu Bar to view the version you are running.

Note:
16-Bit CN!Express Single Users / CN!Express AutoProcessor Version 2.1 or prior version users are encouraged to upgrade.

Steps for updating CN!Express CX-6000 AutoProcessor.

You must have Administrative priviliges on Windows in order to update this software. Please contact your IT department, application specialist, or resident technical support if you are not an administrator.

  1. Complete all transactions currently in the queue.
  2. Pause CN!Express CX-6000 AutoProcessor (Queue -> Pause or click the Pause button).
  3. Run Archive ( File -> Archive).
  4. Run Verify ( File -> Verify).
  5. Run Optimize ( File -> Optimize).
  6. Print Configuration report ( Help -> Configuration report ), keep a copy in a secure location.
  7. Exit the CN!Express CX-6000 AutoProcessor ( File -> Exit ).
  8. Copy (backup) all files in the CN!Express CX-6000 AutoProcessor directory and keep them in a safe place.
  9. Download the latest update CN!Express CX-6000 AutoProcessor (CN!Express CX-6000 AutoProcessor Update).
  10. Run the update program UpdateCNAP.x.x.xx.x.exe, following the promts until complete.
  11. Restart the CN!Express CX-6000 AutoProcessor application, the update is complete.
