AKMP

AKMP™

Auric Key Management Proxy (AKMP) is a software interface to Auric's n-key™ cryptographic key generation and management service. AKMP™ securely provides encryption keys from n-key to other services running on the same host. Through contact with n-key's geographically distributed servers, AKMP ensures that your encryption keys are both completely secure and fully available. CN!Express®  and Trevance®, Auric's industry-leading payment applications, use n-key via AKMP for encryption key management at no additional cost to Auric's payment application customers.

PCI

AKMP assists with PCI Compliance, addressing v2.0; Section 2.6 of the Payment Application Data Security Standard (PA DSS) which states, "Payment application must implement key management processes and procedures for cryptographic keys used for encryption of cardholder data".

Simplified Key Management

Complying with the PCI standards can be daunting. In keeping with Auric's traditional model of simple applications, AKMP with n-key key generation and management is simple to install, configure and use.
n-key™ 

n-key™

The n-key service securely generates cryptographic keys utilizing Public / Private Key technology. The n-key service also manages key rotation automatically.

An n-key account holder is registered with Auric Systems International, by calling Auric at 603-924-6079. When n-key generates encryption keys to be used by an application, those keys are encrypted to that account holder's public key, registered with n-Key. Only the n-key account holder can decrypt the generated keys. The Auric Key Management Proxy (AKMP™) is the functional interface for the account holder and the n-key™ service.

The n-key service is hosted in a distributed model, with multiple ISPs at multiple geographic locations maximizing security and availability. The n-key service is platform and Operating System independent.
